As me and Isaac had already location scouted earlier on in the month, we knew exactly where we were going. We found a perfect location with brilliant potential for numerous shots but it was severely over-grown. This did delay us for about an hour off our schedule and we all tookit in turns chopping while the others cleared the area. Another complication and challenge we faced was in the form of a fiesty old lady. She took us all by surprised first seeming friendly until her motives were revealed. After a barrage of questions attacking each of us in turn, we found she was worried that we did not have the councils permission, after reassuring her everythings above board, she left with a final word of disgust. We carried on with our work and managed to get the full range of shots from this location before lunch.
We rendezvoused around Isaac's house to put all the clips onto Isaacs computer as we took around 3 takes of every shot to make sure we had back ups. Also we were very hungry.
After looking at the shots we decided we were infact behind schedule due to some shots not turning out as good as expected. We therefore decided to add a few more relevants shots in to imply the relationship between the two main characters.
4 hours of filming later, we had finally finished the first day. Not too many complications as battery and camera were all charged and ready, simple upload as well to speed the whole process along, overall a very succinct as successful day.
